Converting waste methane into a scalable business opportunity that advances sustainable food security

This project aims to develop a modular small-scale process to convert waste methane into a high-value product for commercialization, incentivizing methane capture and processing at a local level, and establishing a scalable model for combined methane reduction and sustainable food systems. The underlying premise of this work, building on years of team research and development, is to harness methanotrophs (methane-consuming bacteria), which can be used as feed ingredients on the basis of their protein content (~70%).
