Stanford Sustainability Accelerator Fellowship

Main content start

Developing sustainability entrepreneurs

The Stanford Sustainability Accelerator is launching a post-doctoral fellowship designed to empower and support innovators to launch scalable real-world technology and policy solutions in the area of our flagship destinations.

We seek highly driven problem solvers with a global mindset to tackle our most pressing sustainability challenges. We believe that the most impactful approaches draw on multiple disciplines and perspectives. We strive to build a diverse cohort of fellows that includes policy, technology, and business.

The 2024-25 fellowship will be focused on our first flagship destination greenhouse gas removal (GHG-R) at the gigaton scale by midcentury.

About the fellowship

Our fellows are empowered to make innovative technological and social change that will measurably improve the quality of human life and our planet. The program will include:

Mentoring and entrepreneurial education
Fellows participate in education and coaching by leaders across disciplines and industries to support their professional growth.

Our fellows share an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to have an impact on the global scale. Fellows learn from and support each other as the next generation of sustainably conscious innovators.

Leveraging the resources of the Sustainability Accelerator and Stanford University, our fellows mature their projects to bring speed and scale to solutions that will benefit the world.
